At first you need to list all the services you can offer to your customers.
The service catalog is organized by one or several "Service families", that include "Services", which themselves include "Service subcategories".
When you create your service catalogue keep in mind that the final user will choose a service subcategory. The best way to create the catalogue is to have as few families as possible and some very clear services in order to guide the customer to the good service subcategory
A very complex service catalogue will usually be counterproductive.
In the Service management module begin with the creation of a "Service family". Ex: IT Services
In the Service management module then create your "Services". Ex: Printers and peripherals
In the Service management module then create your "Services subcategories". Ex: Cartridge replacement
In order to allow your customers to pick the right service while creating his tickets you'll have to attach these services to the customer contract(s) of your choice.
